Capital & Risk Management Associate

Overview :

If you're looking for a dynamic and high impact analytical finance role in a profitable, exponentially growing company, we're hiring. We are seeking an Associate to help drive capital and risk management. The position will play a key role in building and deploying quantitative models for senior leadership to make well informed decisions regarding insurance risk levels, reinsurance purchasing, and capital structures. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle.

What you'd be doing :

• Supporting executive decision making by developing financial models.
• Participating in strategic reviews of insurance portfolios and related carrier capital
• Developing and deploying decision tools for evaluating portfolio decisions
• Systematizing and supporting the evaluation of proprietary, rating agency and regulatory capital requirements.
• Developing strong subject matter expertise and quantitative skills relating to catastrophe risk.
