Contract Attorney for Business and Defamation Litigation remote

Job Description

Seeking an attorney with a top-tier background for a contract position in commercial litigation at a boutique law firm.

Requirements :

• 2 years of full-time experience as a licensed U.S. attorney
• 1 year of law firm experience as a California commercial litigation attorney
• California law license, active or willing to activate
• Experience in defamation law
• Willingness to take on 10 billable hours per week
• Ability to act independently
• Responsiveness and dependability

Additional experience in trial / arbitration, anti-SLAPP, trademark, copyright, and cyberlaw is a plus.

Note : Pay rate is commensurate with experience and background, starting from the hourly billable rate.
