Join our ARCHES team to help provide basic needs and housing services to those experiencing homelessness. The Program Coordinator III is a Full-Time, benefitted position working 40 hours weekly.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Program Coordinator III provides direct support to Program Management, guides staff to proper procedures and processes, works to streamline existing processes, processes bill payments to landlords, monitors grant spenddown, and verifies data entry collection. The person in this role is responsible for answering funding, eligibility, and grant compliance questions for staff and clients, and will train incoming staff. This is a grant-funded position aimed at providing case management and rental assistance to chronically homeless individuals and families in Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and Yamhill counties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required of this position.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED and two years of related social service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ideal candidates will possess two or more years of homeless service delivery experience.
- Preferences given to candidates who have experience being a team lead or acting in a leadership role.

Facilitates the daily operations of services.Trains incoming staff on program policies and procedures, and oversees current staff to ensure compliance with proper procedures and processes.Works to streamline existing processes.Serves as a team lead for staff or clientele questions regarding service delivery, funding, eligibility, and grant compliance questionsProvides training opportunities to all staff as it relates to their goals for growth within the agency.
Works with staff to maintain file compliance and monitors a regular file audit system.Works to provide new tools and opportunities aimed at meeting program goals and improving efficiency.Process bill payments to landlords in a timely manner per program requirements.Monitors overall grant spending, including grant spenddown . Verifies data entry collection and complianceCreates and facilitates client rental paymentsUnderstands the expectations of the Housing Navigation and Case Management position in the instance that they need to step in and take over in that role temporarily.Ensures complete client data in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS); prepares data and evaluation reports.Promotes a safe and healing environment for individuals that are victims of extreme trauma.Attends and engages in required trainings .Other duties as assigned.Work Environment
