Overview of the Revenue Reconciliation Analyst
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the Senior Event Accountant, the
Revenue Reconciliation Analyst
ensures accurate reconciliation of ticketing and revenue data for concerts and events. This highly analytical role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in financial reporting.
Responsibilities of a Revenue Reconciliation Analyst
Collaborate with accounting and ticketing teams to reconcile revenue and ticket components.
Review event builds for accuracy before presales / on-sales.
Produce reports to verify cash receipts prior to settlements.
Act as backup for event settlements as directed.
Research and resolve discrepancies using forensic accounting techniques.
Participate in month-end close processes.
Perform additional duties as requested by the CFO or Director of Ticketing.
Qualifications of the Revenue Reconciliation Analyst
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Excel required; knowledge of Python or Anaconda Navigator preferred.
Experience with Ticketmaster reporting is a plus.
