Senior Director of Major Gifts

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Major Gifts to lead its individual giving strategy and drive philanthropic revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the major gifts program, overseeing strategy, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors at the $10K+ level

Manage a personal portfolio of high-net-worth donors, cultivating relationships and securing six- and seven-figure gifts

Design and oversee a robust donor stewardship strategy that deepens engagement and demonstrates impact

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising, with at least 5 years focused on major gifts

Proven track record in building major gift pipelines and engaging high-net-worth donors

Experience managing a personal portfolio and closing six- and seven-figure gifts

Strong command of fundraising systems and data-driven strategy

Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
