Job description

Pharmacy And Professional Liability Risk Analyst

And we do it all with heart, each and every day. This position is accountable for successfully managing pharmacy and professional liability Risk claims. The Risk Analyst will be responsible to handle all aspects of claim resolution, including outreach, financial reserving, investigations, negotiations and resolution of primarily pre-suit druggist and professional liability claims against CVS throughout the United States. The Risk Analyst will collaborate with multiple internal departments, legal counsel, and field employees to ensure timely and appropriate investigation and resolution of claims.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Responsible for successful handling of pre-suit druggist and professional liability claims.
  • Independently and proactively manage caseload.
  • Ensure records, video and evidence are preserved timely.
  • Setting appropriate and timely financial reserves.
  • Conducting and documenting interviews and investigations.
  • Analyze claim and internal materials to determine relevancy, liability and exposure.
  • Stay apprised on national and venue-specific trends to ensure appropriate handling of claims.

Required Qualifications :

  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with claimants and attorneys.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and behaviors and demonstrated ability to de-escalate claimants resulting in productive dialogue and resolution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications with a proven ability to learn new software programs and systems as required.
  • Education :

  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Anticipated Weekly Hours : 40

    Time Type : Full time

    Pay Range : The typical pay range for this role is : $43,888.00 - $102,081.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
