About the role
As a bilingual Business Development Manager at AA Medical, you will drive sales of refurbished medical devices by proactively engaging with customers in Latin America and fostering strong relationships. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and facilitating equipment acquisitions through proactive outreach and effective communication across various channels.
What you'll do
Drive Sales Growth through Proactive Outreach : Achieve and exceed quota targets by activating inactive customers to place their first order, while focusing on customer acquisition and expansion.Customer Relationship Management : Deliver outstanding customer experiences by building and maintaining strong relationships, maximizing satisfaction through urgency and responsiveness.Pre-Call Planning : Utilize available reports and resources to prepare for proactive customer outreach, ensuring targeted and effective communication.Manage Sales Process : Own the entire pre- and post-sale process, guiding customers through purchasing, addressing concerns, and ensuring successful outcomes.Sales Forecasting : Maintain opportunities in the sales funnel and accurately forecast orders and sales for the assigned territory.Product Expertise : Maintain detailed, up-to-date knowledge of AA Medical's products and solutions, conducting demonstrations and answering questions for customers and colleagues.Collaboration : Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to acquire equipment and meet sales targets.Order & Logistics Coordination : Place orders accurately, coordinate logistics (shipping, tracking, fulfillment), and ensure timely delivery to meet customer deadlines.CRM Utilization : Use NetSuite to document customer conversations and actions to ensure clear communication, follow-up and positive customer handoffs.Desired Qualifications
Experience & Performance : Proven sales experience, ideally in medical device or healthcare industries, with a track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.Sales Skills : Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Knowledge of medical equipment terminology and specifications is a plus.Communication : Fluent in Spanish, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities for in-person and phone interactions.Customer Focus : Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers in a solutions-based sales approach.Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with online sales platforms and order processing systems.Personal Attributes : Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
