Base pay range

$50.00 / hr - $65.00 / hr

Rate : $55 / hour - $70 / hour

Initiative : Will be in support of a lab build-out project & overseeing current facilities and labs

Education Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls Engineering & Completion of FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) Exam.

Must Haves :

• Degree in Engineering
• Successfully complete the Fundamentals of Engineering as part of the Professional Engineer (PE) License
• 5-10+ years of experience in site / facilities infrastructure such as HVAC
• 5+ years of experience supporting facilities projects in a cleanroom or wet lab environment at a Semiconductor, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology company
• Strong knowledge of project processes, working in conjunction with project managers, construction managers, system engineers and designers
• Experience leading projects with third party firms
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently : with demonstrated organization, problem-solving and time management skills

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in complex facilities including clean rooms and wet rooms to support our technology customer in Corvallis Portland. In this role you will be on projects of diverse complexity and scope. Responsible for consulting on high priority projects scoping and reviewing these scopes with system engineers from relevant disciplines. Provide oversight on facilities infrastructure projects and problem resolution for roadblocks. Meet ongoing milestones for projects and customer requests. Support startup of installed equipment in close partnerships with Program Managers, Vendors and other third parties. In order to be successful in this role you need to have experience within the Semiconductor, Pharmaceuticals or Biotechnology industry, thrive in collaborative environments and be open to taking on additional job responsibilities as needed. Please note : The position typically operates in a standard office environment with occasional work in manufacturing and construction settings.
