The Opportunity

We are looking for a competent part-time (up to 29 hours per week) Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Open mail, scan and distribute to each division lead or specific team member
  • Maintain trusting relationships with vendors, clients and colleagues
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Write and distribute email correspondence
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Order food for office and manage the process
  • Support ad hoc duties for the VP of People + Culture and IT Engineer

Pursuant to California's Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position is $22-25 / hr; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
