Job description

Account Executive

Job Type : Full-time

Location : San Francisco, California

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in growing and developing an assigned sales territory for Sino Biological’s reagents and bioprocessing services.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and support the company’s sales objectives within the industry and biopharma sectors.
  • Focus 30% of time on quote generation, lead follow‑up, and account management; 70% on client‑facing field visits, relationship building, and territory growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to execute territory sales strategies and achieve revenue goals.
  • Engage with industry clients to understand their project needs and recommend Sino Biological’s products and services that best support their goals.
  • Follow up on leads, prepare quotes, and maintain consistent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Travel throughout Northern California for client meetings, vendor shows, and roadshows to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to internal teams to refine sales approaches and expand industry partnerships.
  • Represent Sino Biological at local industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and company capabilities.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in the life sciences or biotechnology industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals, preferably involving reagents or contract research services.
  • Strong understanding of molecular and cell biology concepts, with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for engaging with industry professionals.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be based in or within commutable distance to San Francisco, California.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Northern California for client meetings and industry events.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and the ability to travel to client sites.
  • Must be able to lift and move 25–50 lbs.
  • At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for sponsorship.
