WMS Data Analyst / Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support warehouse operations, system initiatives, and data-driven business decision-making. This role works closely with Operations, IT, Finance, and Business stakeholders to analyze data from multiple systems, develop operational and management reporting, support system migrations and enhancements, and provide analytical insights that drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the organization.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with complex operational data, translating data into actionable insights, and supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

WMS Reporting & Operational Analytics

• Design, develop, maintain, and      enhance operational dashboards and reports related to warehouse      operations, including inventory, inbound / outbound activity, productivity,      and exception management.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis to      support daily operational needs and management decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy,      consistency, and reliability across reports by validating source data and      report logic.
• Partner with Operations and      Management to understand reporting needs and continuously improve      visibility into warehouse performance.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Support

• Serve as a key analytical partner      to cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, IT, Finance, Sales, and      Leadership).
• Translate analytical findings      into clear business insights, summaries, and recommendations.
• Support documentation of business      requirements, data definitions, and reporting logic.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests      and prioritize based on business impact and urgency.

System Data Integration & Migration Support

• Support data validation,      reconciliation, and comparison across multiple systems (e.g., WMS      versions, ERP, reporting platforms).
• Assist with system migration,      upgrade, and enhancement projects by validating historical and current      data accuracy.
• Investigate and troubleshoot data      discrepancies related to system changes, integrations, or process updates.
• Collaborate with IT and system      vendors to support issue resolution and testing efforts.

RFP & Pricing Proposal Analytical Support

• Provide data analysis and      operational input to support RFP responses and pricing proposals.
• Conduct volume, activity, and      throughput analysis to support operational assumptions.
• Validate cost-related data,      operational metrics, and assumptions used in pricing models.
• Partner with Sales, Operations,      and Finance to ensure analytical inputs are accurate and aligned with      operational reality.

Advanced Analytics & Data Enablement Support

• Support internal analytics,      automation, or optimization initiatives by preparing and validating data      inputs.
• Assist with logic validation and      interpretation of analytical models, forecasts, or optimization outputs.
• Help explain analytical results      to non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous      improvement of data processes, reporting standards, and analytical      capabilities.

Requirements

Required Qualifications :

• Bilingual : Chinese & English
• Bachelor’s degree in Data      Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain,      Operations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data      analyst, business analyst, or similar analytical role.
• Strong experience working with      operational data, preferably in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL      environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel      (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
• Experience with SQL and / or      querying data from multiple systems.
• Experience building dashboards      and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar      platforms.
• Strong analytical,      problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to translate data into      clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Warehouse      Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience supporting system      migrations, upgrades, or data integration projects.
• Familiarity with RFP processes,      pricing analysis, or cost modeling.
• Experience working in fast-paced,      operationally driven environments.
• Exposure to analytics,      automation, or optimization initiatives.
