About the Role

Join our team as the Director of Data Operations, where you'll play a crucial role in leading the various teams and partners throughout the entire data operations lifecycle. This encompasses data generation, annotation, evaluation, and reinforcement learning from human feedback. You will maintain a strong emphasis on precision, scalability, and adherence to safety and ethics principles.

As the ideal candidate, you will manage both internal teams and external strategic vendors, ensuring the provision of high-quality data pipelines that back the company's agentic systems' ongoing learning and enhancement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and manage data operations teams and vendors.
• Oversee data program management and ensure process and tooling quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with research, model, and product teams to achieve common goals.
• Drive process optimization and scaling of data operations effectively across various geographies.

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years in data operations, annotation, or model evaluation, with at least 5 of those years in leadership or management. A proven track record in enhancing data and RLHF operations, combined with strong program management skills and knowledge of data ethics, privacy, and quality standards within regulated industries, is essential.
