Network Administrator
The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of both customer-facing and internal systems as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests.
for the Information Technology group that will support : 50+ users, 30+ Windows 2012 / 2016 / 2019 Servers running on VMware 7+ and Office 365.
This position requires a demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability, a commitment towards teamwork, and responsibility for contributing to the overall success of the company.
NOTE : We are currently only considering applicants currently residing in the US with work authorization.
Responsibilities include :
Manage and support all aspects of the IT environment, onsite and remotely.
Respond and provide end users with a positive experience by meeting their technical needs.
Excellent communication both written and verbal.
Manage and support Active Directory (AD) in a Windows Server environment.
Manage Azure and / or AWS.
Occasional afterhours and weekend support calls.
Support robust backup system.
Support Windows 11, Windows Servers, and Linux Red hat
Maintenance of all standard operating procedures for all system builds, application loads, custom configurations, etc.
Ensure compliance with all SSAE18 SOC1 & SOC2 regulatory requirements.
Hardware procurement for IT Department : laptops, towers, servers, peripherals, and switches.
Management of vulnerability platform.
Management of Firewalls (Fortinet preferred).
Assist Help Desk tickets when needed.
Job requirements :
Thorough knowledge of information technology industry particularly Active Directory, Office365, Microsoft infrastructure management and VMware.
Experience with multiple backup systems : Veeam and Zerto preferred.
Experience with Rapid7 InsightVM & InsightIDR.
Advanced network setup and troubleshooting experience (VLAN, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP)
Solid understanding of Windows 2012 / 2016 / 2019
Superior organizational skills and precise attention to detail.
Experience working in a small environment (Less than 50 servers / 100 PCs), responsible for daily desktop / server operations / administration tasks.
Solid understanding of risk management.
Proficient Hands-on experience with virtualization technology and architecture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer technology or related field
3+ years hands-on system administration experience
Technical Certifications (MCP, MCSE, MCITP, Net+, Sec+, CySA+, CCNA, etc.) are a plus.
Programming experience (Python, C#, Java, Delphi, etc.) is a plus.
