ROLE SUMMARY
The General Manager will be responsible for leadership and supervision of store personnel, inventory tracking and management, achieving key performance metrics and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the store. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
- Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
- Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
- Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and assure that any changes are communicated to employees
- Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
- Provide coaching, training, and development to the team that is focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectives
- Monitor and maintain store inventory
- Responsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations
- Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
- Schedule effectively within labor budget to meet the needs of the business
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
- Perform other tasks that have been assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred, four years related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior management experience, preferably in retail and / or customer service area is a plusMust have prior cash handling experienceMust possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employeesStrong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretionAble to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devicesProven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and proceduresAbility to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politelyADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a MVR background check (delivery locations only)Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background checkMust be at least 21 years of ageMust function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agenciesMust be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitudePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
