Property Administrator For South Florida
We are currently seeking a Property Administrator for South Florida to assist the team-managed portfolio in compliance with the management agreements and contractual duties. The Property Administrator will report to the Associate Director. This is an office-based position in either the Ft. Lauderdale or Boca Raton office.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounts receivable tenant files and records.
- Process all invoices for payment in Yardi.
- Maintain lease, vendor, and property files.
- Prepare monthly accruals.
- Approve tenant billings, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Monitor and contact tenants for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Monitor current vendor contracts and prepare new reoccurring and one-time contracts.
- Work with the accountants and property managers to resolve tenant issues / discrepancies.
- Approve lease abstracts.
- Maintain appropriate insurance certificates for tenants and vendors, reconcile operational expenses, and ensure the accuracy of all real estate and leasing documents.
- Assist with tenant improvement projects.
- Assist with preparation of monthly reports.
- Assist with annual budgeting package.
- Assist with day-to-day operations.
- Maintain lease, vendor, and property files.
- Promote and foster positive relationships with tenant and owners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A 2-year degree is required.Candidate must possess 3+ years experience in basic office procedures.Commercial property management experience is preferred.Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to maintain professional attitude in a sensitive environment.Excellent verbal / written communication skills.Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.Experience in Yardi preferred.Workplace Type
