Duties & Responsibilities :
- This position is scheduled for 8am - 4pm, but incumbent must be willing to cover other shifts on occasion, if necessary.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) for the Energy Management Systems, components, and related BAS-controlled systems to include :
- Testing and calibration of control & controlled components
- Repair or replacement of bad components, valve actuators, and damper actuators on both electric and pneumatic systems.
- Monitor and evaluate system and equipment performance for operational issues.
- Daily reporting.
- May be asked to assist temporarily with projects in other parts of the country.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to proficiently read Mechanical and Electrical blueprints.
- Physical ability to perform all necessary job responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Controls Field..
- 30-Hour OSHA Certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Johnson Controls Metasys, Trane, Honeywell, or Siemens training and certification a plus.
- Johnson Controls Metasys training and certification will be provided, if needed.
Physical Requirements :
- May have to spend prolonged outside exposed to inclement weather and / or temperatures.
- Must have the ability to use hand tools, lift / carry 50 lbs., and to work on ladders / step stools.
