We are looking for a Senior Program Supervisor to oversee a NAVSEA program based in Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity. This function plans, directs, and coordinates operational aspects of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of program are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors : / pulliAssembles program staff. / liliReviews program proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of program. / liliEstablishes work plan and staffing for each phase of program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of program personnel. / liliConfers with program staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. / liliDirects and coordinates activities of program personnel to ensure program progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. / liliReviews status reports prepared by program personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. / liliPrepares program reports for management, client, or others. / liliConfers with program personnel to assess program issues and to develop resolution. / liliCoordinates program activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies. / li / ulpSupervisory Responsibilities : / pulliAssist Program Manager in leading a team. Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of a NAVSEA support contract by formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources. / liliEffectively integrate General Administration, Business Financial Management, and Strategic Planning support across all areas. / liliIs responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. / liliCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. / liliResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. / li / ulpDo you have what it takes? / pulliBachelors Degree in Engineering (or related field) and fifteen (15) years of relevant program management experience to manage large major programs, systems development, and technology initiatives in support of program initiatives, including responsibility for managing programs overall cost, schedule, performance and risk, performing oversight of personnel management and security, and applying relevant government policies and guidance in their program management OR a Masters Degree in relevant field and seven (7) years experience to manage large major programs, systems development, and technology initiatives in support of program initiatives, including responsibility for managing programs overall cost, schedule, performance and risk, performing oversight of personnel management and security, and applying relevant government policies and guidance in their program management. / liliMust be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. / liliMust be a US Citizen. / li / ulpDesired qualifications : / pulliProject Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA III in Program Management. / liliCertified SCRUM Master or Project Management Institute (PMI) Agile Certified Practitioner / liliForeign Military Sales (FMS) Familiarity / liliCommunication and Briefing Skills / liliProgram Management experience running a large support services contract with subcontractors / liliExperience with cost, schedule and performance management as it relates to program execution. / liliProgram and Personnel Management / liliFinancial Management / liliRisk Management Policies and Assessment / li / ulpThis position is contingent upon contract award. Pay Range : VTGs estimated starting pay range is $101,837 to $140,554 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range. / p / div
