Project Accountant
Job Description :
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity in Chicago, IL.
Duration : Temp-to-Perm
Location : Onsite in South Loop, Chicago, IL
Schedule : Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm (w / a 1hr unpaid lunch break)
Compensation : $24 / hr - $28 / hr temp; $60K plus benefits, upon conversion to perm
Our client, a painting and decorating services company in Chicago, is seeking an Accountant to oversee billing and accounting processes associated with various client projects!
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Preparing pay applications
- Responding to client inquiries
- Collecting lien weavers
- Following up on project billing issues
- Gathering change order information
- Maintain job order information
- Other accounting functions as needed, with the potential to advance
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, OR equivalent work experience required
- General accounting experience
- Ability to manage responsibilities for multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software
- Knowledge of Sage 300 CRE a plus
