Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist & Runner is responsible for efficiently managing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and delivering materials or products as needed to support business operations. This position ensures the timely movement of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and organization. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to support operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Warehouse Operations
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Shipping & Receiving Support
• Back up support for arranging freight for shipments with freight carriers
• Runner Responsibilities
• Transport and deliver materials, equipment, or products to designated locations promptly.
• Handle urgent or same-day deliveries to meet operational needs.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of delivered items.
• Safety & Compliance
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, palletjacks) safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report any damaged goods or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflows.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff to coordinate priorities.
