Job descriptionManage budgets, forecasts, program-level financial analysis, and reports in compliance with GAAP, delivering timely insights to support leadership decisions and long-term sustainability. Oversee grants, deferred revenue, and Medicaid / community services billing, ensuring regulatory compliance with state, federal, and nonprofit financial standards. Direct audit preparation and maintain internal controls, risk management, and adherence to accounting best practices, partnering with leadership on compliance and financial strategy. Lead and mentor finance and business operations teams, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and representative payee services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Review, negotiate, and manage contracts, supporting operational alignment and driving sound organizational financial decisions. Ensure integrity and security of financial systems and data, supporting strategic planning and organizational financial sustainability. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (equivalent experience considered). Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. At least 2 years of supervisory experience with proven leadership success. Nonprofit financial management experience, including Medicaid billing, strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and regulatory standards. Effective communicator with the ability to explain financial and operational concepts to diverse stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting, property, or fleet management software a plus. Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance. Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment requirements.
