A / R Follow Up Specialist

A company is looking for an AR Follow Up Specialist to manage unresolved insurance claims and ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up on unresolved claims and check claim status with insurance carriers

Identify reasons for non-payment and take appropriate actions to resolve issues

Manage patient balances and perform additional assigned duties

Qualifications and Requirements

2+ years of A / R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience required

Medical billing experience is helpful

Hospital claims and healthcare receivables experience preferred

2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem solving and research

Prior computer experience is required
