Bankruptcy Specialist II

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Specialist II to manage borrower bankruptcy filings within its manufactured home loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and track active bankruptcy filings and maintain accurate bankruptcy statuses

Ensure compliance with federal bankruptcy laws and coordinate with legal counsel for timely filings

Collaborate with internal teams to manage loans under bankruptcy protection and improve processes

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in bankruptcy servicing or legal processing within consumer lending

Strong knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy processes

Experience with servicing systems and court filing systems

Ability to interpret investor, regulatory, and legal requirements

Familiarity with Proof of Claim reconciliation and trustee communication workflows is preferred
