The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in IFS Applications, with a focus on business intelligence, metal management remapping, and system integrations.
This role is more technical than project management-focused and requires collaboration with the Australia-based team.
Key Responsibilities : IFS Support & Daily Operations : Provide day-to-day support for IFS Applications and resolve user issues.
Configure and maintain IFS modules based on functional and technical requirements.
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
Phase 2 Strategy & Implementation : Support planning and execution of IFS Phase 2 implementation.
Assist in remapping Australia’s metal operations in IFS, addressing complexities unique to metal management processes.
Contribute to leveraging full IFS capabilities beyond basic go-live.
Integration & Data Management : Support integrations with ION, Principia, and other enterprise systems.
Manage data migrations, backend services, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Business Intelligence & Reporting : Work on business intelligence modules within IFS.
Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making.
User Support & Training : Assist users with system queries and provide training, education, and ongoing support.
Required Skills & Experience : Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with IFS Applications (configuration, customization, integrations).
Strong knowledge of SQL, PL / SQL, Java, and backend services (for technical roles).
Experience working with ION and Principia integrations is an advantage.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in resolving functional and technical IFS issues.
Domain Knowledge (Preferred) : Experience in metal management operations and remapping processes.
Understanding of metal price volatility and its impact on system configurations.
Preferred Qualifications : Experience in Phase 2 or post-go-live optimization projects in IFS.
Prior experience supporting complex industrial or manufacturing operations (especially metals).
Ability to work independently and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Additional Requirements : Flexible to work with Australian teams (17-hour time zone difference).
Tech-focused mindset over project management approach.
Ability to support both strategic initiatives and operational tasks.
