This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with both numbers and people while keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Pay depends on experience and will be around $20 / hr. This is a temp-to-hire role with the goal of hiring the Accounting Administrative Assistant on to a full-time position with the client.
About the Accounting Administrative Assistant Role You'll manage the financial side of projects from start to finish reviewing contracts, setting up new jobs, preparing and submitting invoices, and ensuring all billing is accurate and timely. The position requires close attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Accounting Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Review customer contracts and ensure proper documentation for billing
- Set up new jobs in the accounting system
- Prepare, process, and submit invoices accurately and on schedule
- Analyze project data to confirm correct reimbursement and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized records and provide excellent customer service when addressing billing questions or payment issues
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent and efficient billing practices
