Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant Position Summary
The Rad Tech / Medical Assistant (RT / MA) performs radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail.
The RT / MA assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and patients as assigned. The RT / MA will function in the Immediate Care Setting as both an RT and an MA, assisting providers with rooming patients and taking vitals, etc., as needed.
Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant Position Requirements
Education
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
- Must maintain Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Delaware, and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.
- AHA BLS CPR certification required.
Experience
Previous medical office experience preferred.
Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant Schedule
Rotational schedules (day and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed).
Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
