Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Executive Director of HH Clinical Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties involving infection prevention including conducting regular surveillance of infection control practices;
• educate personnel to ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards; monitor and evaluate infection control practices;
• identify and investigate potential sources of infection, etc. Additional duties include performing field staff supervisory visits, collaboration on annual staff performance evaluations;

develop and implement plan for annual Skills Day training; perform a variety of duties to assist the Clinical Manager, and provide guidance, support, education and clinical leadership to office and field staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Public Health or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Medical Surgical, Home Care, Cardiac Care, etc.

Knowledge of infection control practices and Staff Education preferred.

• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is required (RI licensure may be in process).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $84,198.40 - USD $154,024.00 / Yr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement
