Job Summary
Ensures the smooth operation, security, and reliability of software applications while providing high-level customer service. This role involves troubleshooting hardware / software issues, maintaining configurations, and optimizing processes to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent (60 college credit hours) with at least two years of directly related work experience or 5 years of experience with Active Directory administration, Office 365 administration, SharePoint administration, and PowerShell scripting
- SCCM & Intune Administration : Experience managing software deployment, OS imaging, and security policies
- Automation & Scripting : Proficiency in PowerShell for automating software updates, compliance reporting, and system configurations
- System Administration : Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and endpoint management
- Networking & Security : Understanding of security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk assessments
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License, good driving record, and be insurable on Midland College's insurance policy
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certifications : Enterprise Administrator, Power Platform, Azure Administration, SCCM / IntuneCompTIA : A+, Network+, Security+Essential Functions
Customer Support : Respond to technical inquiries via calls, emails, and help desk tickets, documenting and tracking resolutionsAdvanced Software Configuration & Troubleshooting : Analyze and resolve application bugs, user errors, and integration issues between legacy systems and modern platforms using diagnostic toolsSCCM / Intune Administration : Deploy, update, and configure applications across remote and enterprise environments while enforcing security and compliance policiesAutomation & Process Optimization : Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to streamline software deployment, patch management, and compliance reportingUser Training & Assistance : Conduct software evaluations, user acceptance testing, and provide training to stakeholders, ensuring optimal system adoptionCollaboration with CISO : Align software support processes with security and compliance policies while assisting in risk assessments and incident response initiativesSoftware Deployment & Performance Testing : Assess new or updated software for security, compatibility, and integration capabilities through sandbox and pilot environmentsOther Duties : Perform additional software-related support and administrative tasks as requiredPhysical Demands
