Nordstar Media has been creating top‑tier publications and design work for over two decades. Our team produces USA Hockey Magazine, Minnesota Hockey Journal, Pull USA, USA Clay Target League and Duluth Northstar Port, and we also create a wide variety of both print and digital assets for a diverse client base.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an entry‑level Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for both production and creative design. You’ll work on a mix of recurring publication layouts, production work, preflighting ads as well as fresh creative projects, collaborating with our team and also working independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce layouts for magazines, newsletters, and other publications.
• Create infographics, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the editorial and creative teams to maintain visual consistency and brand quality.
• Prepare files for print and digital publishing.
• Contribute to creative concepting for new projects.
• Assist with website updates, HTML formatting, and social media graphics (if applicable).
• Explore and implement AI tools into the creative workflow (as appropriate).
