Full Job Description : Apprentice Craftsperson (Transportation)
Salary Grade : Hourly 8 ($. - $.)

Position Summary : The Apprentice Craftsperson will assist the Master Craftsperson with repairing diesel, gasoline, and alternative fueled district vehicles.
Performs preventative maintenance under the guidance of a Craftsperson or Master Craftsperson.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education :
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Experience :
Two (2) years’ experience as a bus mechanic
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc. :
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be willing to obtain Class A CDL
- Must be willing to acquire a Class B CDL with Passenger and School bus endorsement
- State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, Air brake, and School bus
