Integrated Medical Services (IMS) is a physician?led organization headquartered in Phoenix. IMS is seeking a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable Endoscopy Technician in Avondale. The Endoscopy Technician will assist physicians and registered nurses in endoscopy procedures, deliver specimens, and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on endoscopic equipment and perform minor repairs as necessary.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly manner; disinfect according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist in performing endoscopic procedures such as biopsies, brushings, washings, dilations, polypectomies, specimen labeling, and monitor patient condition under physician or RN direction.
• Deliver specimens to appropriate locations.
• Maintain procedure rooms and charts with necessary supplies; restock as needed.
• Maintain work area and procedure rooms in a neat, clean, orderly manner.
