Job description

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Manage outbound and occasional inbound calls to patients, providers, and payers

Review and process prior authorization requests for medications, services, and procedures

Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and insurance coverage

Required Qualifications

1+ year of recent experience in prior authorizations, benefits verification, or insurance claims

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT / ICD codes, and insurance processes

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must have high-speed internet with modem access (hotspots not accepted)

Ability to manage high call volume and multiple tasks with accuracy
