Job Details :
- Independently developing designs using CAD Tool SOLIDWORKS for Modeling, Drafting and assembly.
- GD&T drawing practices, along with the tolerance analysis of assembly and piece parts.
- Requirement management tools, 2D Drawings and 3D Model creation.
- The Engineer is responsible for quality deliverables according to the standards / requirements.
- BOM preparation and management..
- Produce 3D models and 2D drawings in Solid works CAD.
- Knowledge of a PDM (ENOVIA preferred).
- Knowledge of mechanical tolerances applied to parts and assemblies.
- Familiarity with Standard parts datasheets.
- Familiarity with geometrical input for using in CAD design(ICD, specs, etc).
- CAD definition of structural reinforcements, creation of 2D drawing definition, lead engineering review of 2D drawings, engineering release.
