Sorenson Multicultural Center is located in Salt Lake City in the Glendale neighborhood. It includes two basketball courts, a fitness room, indoor pool, boxing gym, and a city operated community resource center. Perks include flexible hours, a free center membership to employees, and a fun environment. Students and retirees are welcome. Team members can work in more than one area! We want fun, motivated, reliable, and people-friendly staff in the following areas :

Recreation

Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

Temporary positions :

An "At Will" FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month. Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy. Are not considered merit employees. Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
