Technical Training Manager
A Technical Training Manager designs, develops, and delivers programs to enhance reseller technical skills, ensuring training aligns with organizational objectives and keeps staff proficient in current technologies and best practices. This role often involves overseeing a team of trainers, managing budgets, evaluating program effectiveness, managing the technical certification program lifecycle, leading a team to provide training on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the CCFS portfolio, and translating theoretical knowledge into practical understanding by demonstrating customer value of features.
Operational
- Curriculum design : Develop comprehensive technical training programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, and hands-on exercises, often in collaboration with Product Liaisons.
- Needs assessment : Conduct thorough analyses of individual and team skill gaps to identify specific training needs across departments.
- Training delivery : Facilitate and coordinate technical training sessions for a variety of audiences, from new hires to experienced professionals.
- Team management : Lead and mentor a team of technical trainers and instructors, overseeing their day-to-day activities and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Evaluation and reporting : Implement and monitor feedback and assessment processes to measure the effectiveness of training programs and report on key metrics like ROI and skill improvement.
- Budget management : Develop and manage the training budget, including resource allocation and vendor management.
- Strategic alignment : Collaborate with management and department heads to align training priorities with the company's overall business goals and evolving technology.
- Stay current : Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technical advancements, and new training methodologies to ensure all programs are relevant and effective.
- US Military Installations and Training Program :
- Liaise with various branches of the military and Trimble sales team to schedule installations and training events
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks according to customer requirements
- Drive trip preparation, execution, and follow up
- Triage infield parts, site, and technical issues

Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and / or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
