Manager Transportation

The Transportation Manager leads Viking Electric's transportation operations, including routing, fleet management, driver safety and training, compliance, budgeting, and reporting. This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation solutions while collaborating across departments and supporting corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage truck leases, vehicle repairs, replacements, and rentals.
• Oversee third-party carrier operations and companywide routing for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver driver safety training; conduct ride-alongs and coaching.
• Act as liaison with Sonepar's transportation leadership to align with corporate directives.
• Lead and develop a team through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Viking Electric policies and perform other assigned duties.
