Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager (Sales & Operations) oversees all back-of-house operations for an assigned group of retail stores, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance, and loss prevention. This role is responsible for leading stock personnel, coordinating with airport facilities, and supporting the General Manager (GM) in achieving operational excellence.

Pay Range : $60,000 - $70,000
Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily retail and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory flow from delivery to sales floor
- Lead, train, and manage store and stock teams, including hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and ensure timely product placement
- Serve as liaison for Loss Prevention and Airport Compliance, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance
- Coordinate with facilities for store maintenance, builds, and emergency response
- Act as Manager on Duty, handling opening / closing duties and supporting store-wide operations
- Support merchandising standards and brand consistency across visual displays
- Use and manage key operational systems (POS, StoreForce, ADP, Aptos, PowerDMS)
- Assist in executing business initiatives and serve as GM backup when needed
- Monitor sales, shrinkage, and operational KPIs to drive performance and profitability
Job Requirements :
High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred3+ years of experience in retail inventory, warehouse, or stocking supervision2+ years of experience in a management or leadership roleProven ability to lead a team with a results-driven approachSelf-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skillsAdvanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and inventory management systemsTAM Card (Alcohol Beverage Awareness Certification) may be required, depending on locationMust successfully complete the TSA Airport Badging Process, where applicableEmployment may be contingent upon passing background checks and / or drug screening, based on location requirementsAbout Us
