Job Title : Shipping Clerk
Company Description : Our client, a prominent nutraceutical pharmaceutical manufacturer, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping Clerk to support the shipping operations and ensure the accurate and timely shipment of products.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing and packaging products for shipment according to established procedures.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with the Shipping Manager to prioritize and schedule shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipped products, tracking numbers, and delivery information.
- Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as damaged products or order discrepancies.
- Keep the shipping area organized and ensure it complies with safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with team members and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
