Automotive General Manager

Overview

If you have previous experience with the Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM brands, prior automotive general manager experience, and a passion for leadership, this is an exciting opportunity to build on our Mission to Keep People Moving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dealership components including variable and fixed operations and the business office to ensure profitability.
• Motivate and coordinate the dealership's management through leadership and sound business practices.
• Set realistic monthly and annual sales and gross profit objectives for the dealership.
• Establish and maintain record keeping to accurately track dealership operations and performance, and hold leaders accountable to these metrics.
• Conduct weekly leadership meetings; coach, mentor, train and provide feedback to leaders to achieve optimal success.
• Ensure department policies and procedures are followed for optimal efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Communicate with leaders and teams in a timely manner.
• Aim to achieve sales and service CSI goals with the team.
• Align with ONE Dahl regarding culture development and accountability.
• Identify and source candidates to fill critical roles within the dealership.
• Resolve guest complaints that department leaders cannot rectify; conduct timely performance evaluations for dealership leaders and their teams.
• Collaborate with the Support Team and BDC to operate the sales business effectively.
• Partner with the dealership controller to monitor and handle items such as receivables, CITs, inventory, etc., in a timely manner.
