Summary

This positionwill use a forklift toassistall areas of the plant in the production and packaging offrenchfries and preformed potato productsin a manner consistent with safetyqualityand production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift Line Service employees are required to be cross trained with Materials and Inventory Coordinators and are able to perform functions within their security role.
• Ensures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.
• Conducts oneself in a professional manner and ensures that personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the Company.
• Performs all such other duties as may be reasonably assigned by Manager.
• Must be able to complete training on the safe operation of the lift truck (forklift) and successfully pass the certification test requirements. This training and certification are requirementsin accordance withOSHA 1910.78 standards for Material Handling and Storage using Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Ensuresproper inspection of forklift.
• Maintains freezer bylocatingand moving totes as needed.
• Required to change out totes and store in freezer during bulk off situations and during times of bulk generation.
• Ensuresall packaging supplies (paper poly bulk product and fiber) aremaintained.
• Ensures additives toIQFwet line aremaintained.

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Other Information

Ability to safely operate a forklift loading and unloading trucks and high stacking totes.
