Data Analytics Product Manager

FocusKPI is seeking a Data Analytics Product Manager  to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.  This Product Manager role is highly data-focused, distinct from traditional Product Manager roles, requiring strong analytics capabilities. Candidates need experience interfacing with data engineering for Tableau dashboard creation and translating success metrics into analytics requirements.

Data analysis is the primary criterion; however, data analytics experience and a metric-driven background are vital.   Work Location :

• Mountain View, CA (Hybrid role, 4 days / week onsite) Duration :  12-month contract with potential to convert depending on the candidate's performance Pay Range :   $75 / hr to $85 / hr

• Responsibilities : Define and align on  North Star and supporting metrics  for multiple product areas (growth, engagement, retention, monetization).
• Partner with product teams to  set analytics requirements  during product development, ensuring instrumentation and event logging are accurate, consistent, and scalable.
• Collaborate with the Data Analyst and Data Science teams to  design and prioritize dashboards  for executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a  cross-product measurement framework  to ensure comparability and clarity of metrics across the client's apps.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure  data quality, event tracking, and instrumentation  meet business needs.
• Influence senior leadership by  translating data into insights , highlighting trade-offs, and guiding strategic decisions.
• Drive a culture of  data-informed decision-making  across product teams.
