Billing Specialist
The CSI Companies is currently seeking a Billing Specialist for a contract-to-hire position with one of our clients, a Global developer of medical technology.
Status : Contract-to-hire
Location : Jacksonville, Florida 32246 (Remote upon converting permanent)
Compensation : $18 / hour
Hours : M-F, 9am 6pm (Once remote, the hours become 9 : 30am 6 : 30pm)

Responsibilities :
- Responds to phone, email, and fax requests from customers
- Provides invoice copies, statement copies, proof of deliveries, and other information to allow customers to make payments
- Researches backup, including billing notes and purchase orders, analyzes details to confirm billing accuracy, and effectively communicates any issues and follows up as needed
- Explains complex billing issues to both internal and some external contacts
- Works with appropriate departments to resolve invoice discrepancies related to pricing, product, shipping, and / or duplicate billings
- Follows through on issues, makes informed decisions that comply with policies and procedures, and completes tasks and problem solves
- Maintains detailed account notes and follow-up information regarding billing and invoicing status
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel report creation
- Experience with SAP is a plus
