Accounts Payable Specialist
Description / Job SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist will act as the coordinator for all accounts payable functions for the company and when needed, they will serve as backup to process field and office payroll.
Responsibilities / DutiesAccounts PayablePrimarily responsible for the processing and maintenance of the Accounts Payable function for the CompanyEnter / import all AIA payment vouchers / invoices into Sage300 systemPrint checks and match to invoices and supporting documentationMail signed checks to vendorsDistribute to project management all subcontractor account statementsMaintain and distribute "Held Checks List" reportUtilize Timberscan for approval process and importing of invoicesSubcontract ComplianceConfirm that all compliances are up-to-date before paying (Insurance, Certified Payroll, Release of Liens, SF1413, Small Business, etc.
PayrollServe as backup to process the office and field payroll for the CompanyReview electronic time entries. Review Sage300 edit reports for accuracySetup employee master file in Sage300Print and distribute / mail all Payroll Checks and Direct Deposit FormsProcess Certified Payroll Reports and Tax PaymentsFilingResponsible for the electronic updating and filing of all check support.
OtherOther projects as assigned by Accounting SupervisorGather backup for partner invoicesAttend as assigned all Grunley in-house and external training programsPreferred SkillsSage 300 (Timberline)Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and the accounting principles of accounts payableGood understanding of accounting systemsRequired ExperienceExcellent customer service and organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred ExperienceOne (1) year of accounts payable experience.Sage 300 (Timberline)Required EducationHigh School Diploma or G.
E.D.Preferred EducationAssociates degree in Accounting or Business Administration.Required QualificationsMust be a U.S. Citizen.
