WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN?

The Echocardiography Technician performs accurate adult echocardiographic exams, stress echos, and transesophageal ultrasound studies on inpatients and outpatients. The position requires initiative and judgment, utilizing ultrasound equipment for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities :

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE AN ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN?

Requirements :

Associate's degree in a Medical Science field- Required .

Three (3) years' experience in Ultrasound, or come from an accredited ultrasound school and be registered or registry eligible.- Required

Obtain echo certification / registration within one year of employment. Must obtain the credits necessary to maintain their registry status.- Required

Salary Range : $31.50-$47.26 / per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
