We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist based out of our corporate office in Suffern, NY .

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable (A / R) for a multifamily real estate property with affordable residential units, working closely with accounting and property management teams.
• Report directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
• Post Clickpay / Lockbox / physical checks daily.
• Post and reconcile payments.
• Process move-outs and refunds.
• Provide back-up support to operations.
• Research discrepancies by checking rent bills, rent checks, and bank deposit records.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for operating and security deposit accounts.
• Manage security deposit transfers in accordance with state guidelines.
• Collaborate with property managers, accountants, and supervisors to resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Any other relatable duties as assigned
