Job descriptionUpper GI endoscopy; with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices, with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) Small Bowel biopsy Lower GI endoscopy Colonoscopy : with biopsy and excision of polyp 4 hours onsite doing screenings and then the rest of the time for that shift they will be on call (beeper) If there are any findings on those screenings, NP will follow up on those
