They are seeking a Director of Marketing to help develop and execute the company's marketing strategy.
NOTE : This hybrid (3 / 2) opportunity sits in the greater Los Angeles area near Sherman Oaks, CA. This is not a fully remote role.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Marketing is responsible for working as part of the team to develop and execute the marketing strategy. Specific responsibilities will include leading 3-year category planning, new product launches, promotional programs, channel development, competitive analysis, and vendor management. We are looking for an experienced marketer who's passionate about developing brand strategies and new product development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Drive strategy and long-term planning across a portfolio of products
- Conduct segment-specific analyses and recommend new products and features to fill portfolio opportunities
- Lead segment-specific new product launches from conception through execution (pricing, positioning, packaging, etc.), working collaboratively with different functions
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, potentially including ad development, media planning, online direct marketing, loyalty initiatives, trade programs, etc.
- Manage external vendors as appropriate (e.g., licensing, PR, research, etc.), including the potential for initiating relationships, contract review, setting strategic goals, development of plans and following through with accountability for results
- Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- Manage, coach, and develop direct report(s)
