Nectar is on the hunt for an ambitious, curious, and high-performing Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our New York or San Francisco-based teams. This is your chance to get in early with a nimble, elite communications team shaping the stories of tomorrow’s most disruptive tech companies.

About You

You’re driven. Detail-obsessed. Eager to grow. You see the headlines before they break and you want to be the one helping shape them. You’re a builder and a helper, equally excited to draft a pitch as you are to brainstorm the next killer campaign idea. As a SAE at Nectar, you’ll work alongside seasoned PR professionals, contributing directly to the strategy and execution of client programs from day one. You’ll be accountable, coachable, and encouraged to take creative risks. You’re not afraid of hard work or big ideas. What You Do

You’ll play a hands-on role across 3-4 tech-focused client teams , with exposure to some of the most exciting brands in the industry. Your day-to-day might include :

  • Client Counsel & Communications - Serve as a primary client contract; offering proactive counsel to team members and clients; manage account programs from start to finish
  • Media Relations - Secure impactful coverage through compelling storytelling and strong relationships with top-tier and trade reporters
  • Narrative Development & Thought Leadership - Support messaging, pitch development, and award / speaking program execution that positions clients as category leaders
  • Digital Strategy & Social Media - Collaborate on integrated communications strategies and advise on social content, paid opportunities, and performance
  • Event & Campaign Execution - Coordinate client events, product launches, or campaign moments - bringing creativity, logistics savvy, and media instincts

What You Offer

  • 3-5 years in tech / corporate public relations, preferably with agency experience
  • Strong writing, pitching, and storytelling skills with the media results to show it
  • Confidence managing client relationships and driving day-to-day programs
  • Sharp attention to detail and a calm approach to juggling competing priorities
  • A collaborative, curious, team-first attitude - with a sense of humor and grit
  • Passion for technology, media, and the evolving communications landscape
  • Willingness to work 2 days / week from our San Francisco office
