Metals Compliance & Trade Operations Analyst

Customs & Trade Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Customs & Trade Operations team, with a specialized focus on metals complianceparticularly steel, aluminum, and copper. This role will support import / export operations and compliance activities, with a strong emphasis on reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring accurate metal weight declarations for finished goods. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, procurement collaboration, and tariff classification, along with experience in import / export documentation and systems.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze Bills of Materials to verify correct metal weights (steel, aluminum, copper) for finished products.
• Collaborate with procurement and internal engineering teams to ensure accurate material data and compliance with trade regulations.
• Support import / export operations, including documentation review, customs clearance, and broker coordination.
• Assist in auditing customs brokers and resolving discrepancies in declarations and duties.
• Maintain records and prepare reports related to import / export activities and metal compliance.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Manage small-scale projects related to trade operations and compliance improvements.
