Research Assistant to join our collaborative team. Our department is dedicated to advancing the understanding of trauma recovery and developing interventions that improve outcomes for trauma survivors. This position is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates or post-baccalaureate students interested in gaining hands-on clinical research experience prior to pursuing graduate, medical, or other advanced training.
Key Responsibilities - Support the Principal Investigators, Managing Director, Project Managers, and senior coordinators on several ongoing and upcoming clinical research studies
- Assist with study start-up activities and regulatory documentation
- Screen and recruit participants, obtain informed consent, and conduct study visits and follow-up surveys (in-person and by phone)
- Collect, enter, and verify research data with high attention to detail
- Maintain study materials, including manuals of procedures and study logs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across UNC and partner institutions

Requirements and Preferences Work Schedule M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm (Hybrid) Other Work/Responsibilities Other duties as needed. Minimum Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

- Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

- Prior research or clinical experience preferred but not required — training will be provided
