Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for a direct hire (permanent) position at a food and beverage client in St.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and experienced QA Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across our production processes.

SCHEDULE

Four 10-hour days, with occasional weekend work depending on workload

DUTIES

• Play a key role in maintaining SQF certification for the company, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Work closely with documentation and regulatory issues to ensure all procedures are followed accurately
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Department, ensuring that quality control procedures are consistently implemented and followed
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Quality / Food Safety Department
• Analyze data and generate reports for senior management to facilitate decision-making processes
• Maintain instrumentation records and ensure preventive maintenance is performed regularly

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science in a related field or 5+ years of experience in a quality management role within the food and beverage industry
• HAACP and SQF certification preferred
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed
